1. About us

2. Use of this website

This website and its content are provided for general information. You may view and use it for your own lawful, personal or business purposes. You must not misuse the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or copy its design or code without our permission.

3. Our services

We provide web design, development, SEO, and related marketing services. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline and price for any project are set out in a separate written proposal or quote, which — together with these terms — forms the agreement between us.

4. Quotes and payment

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Unless agreed differently in writing, projects are booked with a deposit, with the balance due on completion or per an agreed schedule. Invoices are payable within the terms shown on the invoice. We reserve the right to pause work on overdue accounts.

5. Ownership and intellectual property

On full payment, you own 100% of the final website we build for you — the design, the code and the content produced for your project are yours. Until final payment is received, all work remains our property. This website's own design, branding and code remain the property of Coded by Design.

6. Your responsibilities

Where you engage us, you agree to provide the content, access and feedback we need in a timely way, and to ensure that any materials you supply (text, images, logos) do not infringe anyone else's rights. Delays in providing these may affect the timeline.

7. Third-party services

Projects may rely on third-party services such as hosting, domains, fonts, or analytics platforms. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, changes or pricing.

8. Rankings and results

We build fast, well-structured, search-friendly websites and follow current best practice. However, search engine rankings and business results depend on factors outside our control, and we cannot guarantee specific positions, traffic or enquiry volumes.

9. Liability

We provide our website and services with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any project is limited to the fees paid for that project. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with a revised date.
